Lohnen sich die Guides von der Ästhetik her? Als Spielhilfe braucht man die sicher nicht.

So von wegen der Stimmung, der Film Excalibur von Boorman geht in eine ähnliche Richtung, hab dazu was im DVD Thread geschrieben. Kennst den Film mit Sicherheit. MMn sicherlich eine Inspirationsquelle für die Reihe gewesen.

Der Guide zu Bloodborne ist gut.
Ich kaufe sie mir mehr der Vollständigkeit halber.
Dürfte wieder eine nette Extrarubrik beinhalten.
Ist nett, muss man aber nicht haben.

Ludleth of Courland

Ludleth of Courland is an NPC in Dark Souls 3. He is a peculiar looking man sitting on one of the thrones in the shrine calling himself a Lord of Cinder.

Allgemein

Lord of Cinder in Dark Souls 3 is most likely referring to the main antagonist of the game. Details are vague and not too much concrete information is currently known. There is also a Lord of Cinder Mode in the game that is required to summon other players.

Lord of Cinder Information

Most of this is currently SPECULATION

• The title “Lord of Cinder’ is subjective, as Gwyn was Lord of Cinder during the first cycle, in which he linked the fire, and the player then becomes the Lord of Cinder, who renews the flame, or the Dark Lord, who brings the world into the age of darkness.
• The definition of Cinder is the remnants of a fire, meaning the previous Lords of Cinder must have ruled over the first flame as it was fading. It could also be referring to those who renew the flame, and sacrifice their souls to maintain the flame for another age of fire.
• Dark Souls 3’s antagonist is apparently a resurrected Lord of Cinder. Whether this means there are multiple ones that have existed, it is unclear.
• Through the belief that a Lord of Cinder is one who presides over the dying first flame, it must mean that each Lord of Cinder managed to overthrow the previous Lord of Cinder and install himself. This could very well include the previous player characters.
• Gwyn is the only confirmed “Lord of Cinder”.

Ich ehrlich gesagt auch nicht, bis ich ihn wieder gesehen hatte. Der Soundtrack von Trevor Jones würde sich da teilweise anbieten.

Ich kenne die Geschichten von DS1 und 2 nicht und und steige wohl mit DS3 ein.

Wie ich oben gelesen habe, haben alle etwas miteinander zu tun bezüglich des Königs (Kinde/Erwachsen/”Monster”)?
