Seit 1998 zeichnet die Academy of Interactive Arts & Science jedes Jahr die besten Videospiele im Rahmen der Interactive Achievement Awards (IAA). Im vergangenen Jahr gewann Uncharted 2: Among Thieves in der Hauptkategorie “Spiel des Jahres”.
Die mittlerweile 14. IAA-Verleihung findet am 10. Februar im Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas statt. Red Dead Redemption, unser Spiel des Jahres, führt das Feld mit Nominierungen in insgesamt neun Kategorien an. Hier die vollständige Liste:

So weit, so gut…also rein von den Nominierungen her gibts da für mich nicht viel zu meckern. Passt wohl! Obwohl Mass Effect2 auch wohl noch in die Kategorien Animation und Visual Engeneering gepasst hätte…zu mindest eher als, Medal of Honor und Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Immerhin ist NBA 2K11 nominiert.War in den Maniac Top 30 nicht vorhanden. Der Skandal des letzten Jahres für mich. 😀

Enslaved hat sich auch nicht verkauft. Wobei ich Blur besser finde als Split/Second. Wahrscheinlich waren die beiden zu ähnlich.
Tja, leider ist Blur nicht unter den Rennspielen des Jahres. Verdient hätte es das, aber was sich nicht verkauft…
NAtürlich nett, dass Mass Effect 2 mal wieder fleissig nominiert wurde.Die Nominierungen für Enslaved freuen mich aber noch weit mehr. Nachdem die Mehrheit der Konsumenten anscheinend lieber Einheitsbrei konsumiert werden zumindest die Nominierungen den Spiel gerecht.
