Als GAMERS ’94 titelte “DUNE II – EIN STRATEGIEEPOS SPRICHT DEUTSCH!”, da konnte ich nicht ahnen, dass, zum einen, Texte in Videospielen enormeren Umfang bekommen würden, und zum anderem Konsumenten eine Übersetzung, nicht nur in Text, nein, auch in Ton erwarten würden.

Hier ein Beispiel aus dem ebenfalls von ’94 Sega Mega Drive Titel Probotector/Contra: Hard Corps:

Dune 2 habe ich diesen Frühjahr auf ebay ersteigern können. Das ein Mega Drive-Spiel deutsche Sprachausgabe besitzt finde ich total genial. Wahrscheinlich das einzige Mega Drive/Super Nintendo Spiel überhaupt.

PS: Oh! Hab erst jetzt gesehen, dass da abgegessen steht. xD

und Zombi U… undvehrlich gesagt hat Zombi U den titel bester Survival EgoShooter sehr viel eher verdient weils da echt drum geht… Metro ist n shooter mit stealtheinlagen… wann gehts denn da echt mal drumm am leben zu bleiben, besonders da man einfach am checkpoint respawned xD

In der Stage “Headstrong at Kubota” am Ende beim Endgegner. Der Boss Yoshishige Satake stapft bei seinem ‘Intro’ murmelnd auf den Betrachter zu. Als er dabei mit seinem Schädel gegen die ‘Kamera’ kracht, meint er ganz trocken:
