Ich kann mich noch (dunkel) an irgendeine News erinnern, wo es mal um ein billigeres Witcher 3 für Switch ging. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass da vielleicht noch ne Handelsversion folgt.

1. Witcher 3 wird nun einzeln ohne DLC verkauft und die DLCs können separat gekauft werden.
2. Wenn man das neue SKU mit allen DLCs kauft, dann kostet das 10 € mehr.
3. CDP sagt die Ultimate Edition wird bald entfernt aber in der Zukunft wird es ein neues Bundle geben… wtf..?

Ich wette das neue Bundle ist dann nochmal 10 € teurer. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Wie Hideki Kamiya bereits sagte, es wäre am besten wenn wir vergessen das Bayonetta 3 angekündigt wurde.

Today's disclosure confirms that Bayonetta 3, "Metroid Prime 4 (temp)," and "the sequel to Breath of the Wild (temp)" are still in development, but none have release dates. No other surprise game reveals (or Switch Pro).

I wonder what Prime 4's final name will be…

Nicht nur NSO wird im Hintergrund auf ein baldiges Update vorbereitet, an der Serverinfrastruktur wird auch geschraubt. Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob das nun gut, schlecht oder egal ist. Keines dieser Wörter sagt mir etwas.

Nintendo is preparing a big multiplayer overhaul, probably for games in development in 2020: every task currently taken by NEX is going to be switched over to NPLN. It's currently in a preview phase, and the Monster Hunter demo was a way to test how it worked under load.

Rip Star Clay Fox…

TV personality Adam Conover has not one, but two big stories to share with Nintendo fans. He shared new details on the Legend of Zelda/Netflix project that fell apart, but that’s not his only secret. Turns out Nintendo was working on another animated feature with a different company altogether.

While most will know Adam Conover from the TV show Adam Ruins Everything, his first big break was at CollegeHumor. While he was working at that company, Conover says that CollegeHumor and Nintendo were partnering up for some sort of StarFox project. It seems this was a claymation feature, rather than a game. According to Conover, the feature was going to be similar in style to The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Why didn’t this project ever see the light of day? Conover says the leaks of the Legend of Zelda live-action series with Netflix made Nintendo upset, so they not only cancelled those plans, but plans for other projects outside of games at that time. That means the StarFox claymation feature was a casualty of the whole Netflix situation.

It’s a shame Nintendo decided to yank support, as this project sounds like it could have been really cool! You can hear the whole conversation about it at the 39:47 mark above.

Die Switch und ihre Knöpfchen… Die Suche nach dem perfekten Controller ist noch nicht vorbei.

Als erstes wollte ich eine Alternative zum originalen Pro Controller, weil ich mich so an den PS4 Controller gewöhnt hatte. Also habe ich den Adapter von 8bitdo bestellt, um mein PS4 Pad mit der Switch zu verbinden. Das Gefühl, den Dual-Shock 4 in der Hand zu halten, war so viel angenehmer… leider war der Input-Lag zu hoch. Mal sehen, wie lange es braucht, bis ich mich an den originalen Pro Controller gewöhnt habe. Mittlerweile finde ich ihn nicht mehr sooo schlimm.

Nun fehlt noch eine vernünftige Alternative zu den Joy-Cons fürs mobile Spiel. Die Knöpfe der Joy-Cons sind viel zu klein für mich. Also habe ich mir das Hori Split Pad Pro gekauft. Nach bisher 45 Minuten testen war es leider ein Fehlkauf: es wirkt billig, wackelt an der Switch. Der R3-Trigger reagiert launisch. Die Sticks sind mit einem seltsamen Belag überzogen, sodass man sie gerne abwischen würde. Überhaupt fühlt sich die Oberfläche seltsam stumpf an. Und nach etwa 30 Minuten sind mir trotz der größeren Griffe die Hände eingeschlafen.

Als nächstes Teste ich zwei Halterungen, in welche die Switch eingeschoben wird. Der Zacro Switch Controller und den ElecGear Griff Controller. Außerdem teste ich eine Halterung (Ovio Switch Pro Controller Halterung), womit man die Switch an den Pro Controller klemmt – mal sehen, ob das Gewicht stört.

Falls einer von euch auch so eine Reise macht oder gemacht hat, schreibt doch mal was dazu 😉

guter bericht! ich hab den original pro controller, den 8bitdo hab ich schweren herzens links liegen lassen (mag die optik, aber der genannte input lag…gnarrr), halbwegs gut gefällt mir mobil der lammcou halter und offenbar hatte ich mit dem hori split pad glück: bis auf imho viel zu leichtgängige sticks fühlt es sich “normal” an und wackelt nicht. was macht/kauft man nicht alles als switch-besitzer mit großen händen…

auf dein feedback zum ovio bin ich gespannt!

Meine Joycons saßen von Anfang an nicht richtig fest. Da ist zwar nur ein klein wenig Spiel, aber alleine das nervt schon ein bisserl.

Auch mit ‘Xbox Layout’ aber die Power A Enhanced Wireless sind nicht schlecht, allerdings AFAIR ohne Rumble.

Wer billige aber brauchbare Pads für MP Titel sucht kann sich die TUTUO Controller und baugleiche mal angucken. Ich hab das Ding mal ausführlich getestet. Die Sticks sind sicher nicht die allerpräzisesten, was man bei Shootern merkt, das Gyroskop kommt nicht ansatzweise an das vom Pro Controller ran und der Akku hält nur 4-5h. Aber solides Steuerkreuz, sauber arbeitende Tasten usw machen das zu einem sehr soliden Zweit- bis Viertcontroller für MP Sessions.
