“Here’s our fourth major update on when we expect the Turrican Anthology Vol. 1 + 2 to ship, as well as detailing an as transparent timeline as possible for the other Turrican items we have on pre-order.

First, some good news! We’re nearly at the end of this lengthy pre-order process. All of the retro cartridges have now been shipped, unless ordered together with other editions. Passionate fans all around the globe are now experiencing the classic Turrican games as they were meant to be played; on original 16-bit hardware!

We want to acknowledge that you’ve been extremely patient with us during this lengthy pre-order process. We will thus offer full transparency on what’s happening right now. As we really cannot afford to have anything go wrong for these complete-on-card/disc physical forever copies, we went through an extensive Q&A.

Production of the PS4 discs were set to start March 21st. However, bugs were found during the internal testing at SONY and shipping will thus begin at the end of April. Of course, we will ship the games out sooner if possible.

Production of the Nintendo Switch game cards were set to start March 25th. As of March 15th, Nintendo started going through the game at their internal testing facility. They did find some bugs, and as we want to have these collections as polished as possible, we’re now looking at May for the start of shipping the strictly limited NSW copies.

Based on the past track record when it comes to Turrican, we cannot guarantee that further delays won’t happen. However, if we owe you anything (besides the pre-ordered games shipped to you) it’s full transparency.

In mid June everyone should (in theory) have their Turrican Anthology Vol. 1 + 2 in hand, ready to be played. This is, of course, unless you’re also waiting for one of the über-awesome Collector’s Editions.

In regards to the Turrican Anthology Collector’s Editions, we’re thrilled to finally present you with a more definitive date of dispatch. We’re looking at late July, if everything goes well, as a date for when the first Collector’s Editions will ship out to fans eagerly anticipating the awesomeness that awaits in this box of Turrican magic!

But what about the ULTRA Turrican Anthology Collector’s Editions that would have the figure and Blu-ray™ ship later? As announced in our last update, we’ll offer everyone who pre-ordered the ULTRA CE to split the order free of charge. If you choose this option, your pre-order would ship in July at the same time as the other Collector’s Edition. The figurine would then be shipped in August as a separate shipment. To have your ULTRA CE ship in advance of the figurine, please follow the instructions detailed here below.

To opt in on having your ULTRA Turrican Anthology Collector’s Editions ship in advance of the figurine, please follow this link and fill in the form with the correct information on your order.

If you choose to go this route, the outer non-wrapped ULTRA box (normally containing both the figurine and the other classic SLG Collector’s Edition box /w magnetic latch) will have the void filled with paper. The figure will then be shipped separately, a few weeks later.

Halt die Schattenseiten dieser Vorfinanzier-Kultur. Woanders wird auch erst das Produkt produziert, bevor es verkauft wird. Gibt immer mehr solche Anbieter, die das unternehmerische Risiko auf den Kunden abwälzen wollen und diesen als Investor zweckentfremden.

Hab meine beiden Anthologies fuer Switch gerade aus dem Briefkasten geholt. Krasser Scheiss, bestellt und bezahlt am 27.08.2022 und heute angekommen. Die beigelegten Postkarten und das Poster sind aber mal krass haesslich, kein Vergleich zu den alten Amiga-Motiven.

Bezahlt direkt nach Ankuendigung 2020. Das Warten hat sich aber wirklich wie seit 2002 angefuehlt.

Ich bin auch mal gespannt wann meine Box kommt. First Press ist aber ähnlich kacke. Warte da noch auf drei Sachen. LRG noch auf Mushi. Bestelle mittlerweile auch nix mehr. Vieles gibt es regulär in Japan. Da klemm ich mir den Kack.

Vielleicht sollten die ihr Geschäftsmodell mal überdenken und Vorbestellungen erst ab Goldstatus zugänglich machen. Wenn das nicht totale Flaschen im Verhandeln sind, bezahlen die sicher nicht den ganzen Batzen für die Produktion, ehe was geliefert wird. Da sollen die dem Kunden mal erklären, warum dieser ein Jahr vorher den Krempel vorfinanzieren muss.
Aber Kundenzufriedenheit steht da wohl nicht an erster Stelle.

Wenigstens etwas…

Ob ich da nochmal bestellen werde? Das weiß ich echt noch nicht, eher nicht…

Die großen Collector’s sind ja nochmal ne Ecke teurer. Da würde ich mir dann noch was mehr Beilagen erhoffen. Zumal da ja schon Soundtrack CD’s bei sind.

Ich warte immer noch auf mein PS4 Turrican.
Den ganzen Rest an 2D Shooter habe ich aber brav bekommen.
Da sind halt weltweit exkl.Sachen dabei wie Rolling Gunner für PS4 oder Star Hunter/Space Moth.Und die sind leider auch ausverkauft.
Im Moment gerade läuft die Ray/Layersection Reihe.Wer Raystorm physisch will muß hier mal wieder zuschlagen oder mit der jap Fassung Vorlieb nehmen.In der regulären Verkaufsfassung fehlt Raystorm.Allez hopp

Die sind jedenfalls schon lange versendet worden. Hab ich auch beide hier.

Ich hab meine große Turrican Collector’s Edition für die Switch auch noch nicht erhalten. Hatte sie allerdings auch zusammen mit Darius Cozmic Revelation und Rolling Gunner bestellt.

Bin mir auch nicht sicher ob hier übrhaupt schon wer die große Collector’s von Turrican erhalten hat.

Das klappt bei LRG doch sehr viel besser. Da kann man sich auf 3/4 Jahr Wartezeit bis zum Versand auch wirklich verlassen.

Man sieht halt auch, dass kaum noch Spiele, selbst populäre Titel, mittlerweile bei SLG nicht mehr ausverkauft sind. Auch wenn sie schon seit 1-2 Jahren bestellbar sind. Verkaufen immer weniger…

LRG scheint mit seinem “nur für 3 Monate mit flexiblen Stückzahlen vorbestellbar” Prinzip auch die bessere Verkaufsstrategie zu fahren. Termine so auch ziemlich genau einhalten zu können.
