Columns for Carrots #15: Enemy Mine – der PC

127

The Evil Within – Termin steht fest!

14

August erscheint The Evil Within für PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 und Xbox One.

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark bei Amazon UK gesichtet

3

Lediglich folgende Beschreibung blieb erhalten:“The next instalment in the incredible Transformers gaming franchise, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is an exciting action game that is perfect for veteran fans and newcomers.”

Hardware

Seitens der Konsolen-Verkäufe war die PlayStation 4 im Januar an der Spitze, erklärte Marktforscher Callahan: “PS4 led overall hardware sales this month, followed by the Xbox One.”

Sony-Sprecher Guy Longworth erklärte gegenüber VentureBeat, dass sich die PS4 – laut Bericht – fast doppelt soviel verkauft hätte wie die Microsoft-Konsole: “Demand for PlayStation 4 remains incredibly strong as it was No. 1 in sales for next-gen consoles in January, nearly doubling the nearest next-gen competitor, and remains the cumulative leader, according to today’s NPD report,”

Einer der Gründe hierfür waren laut NPD zu wenige Neuerscheinungen: “There were about half the number of SKUs launched this January versus January 2013, leading to a 52% decrease in sales for new launches (or 39% when normalised).”

“[…] with PS4 software sales ranking No. 1 in January, highlighted by strong sales of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which sold twice as many units on PS4 than any other platform,”“, erklärte Sony laut VentureBeat.

Microsofts Yusuf Mehdi verkündete hingegen, dass Xbox One und 360 – zusammen genommen – den US-Software-Markt anführen: “January NPD Group figures released today revealed [that] Xbox systems sold the most games across all console platforms in January with 2.27 million units sold, making up 47 percent of software market share.”

US-Spiele-Charts Januar 2014:

  1. Call of Duty: Ghosts (PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  2. NBA 2K14 (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  3. Battlefield 4 (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  4. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag (PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  5. Grand Theft Auto 5 (PS3, Xbox 360)
  6. Madden NFL 25 (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  7. Minecraft (Xbox 360)
  8. FIFA 14 (PS3, PS4, Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  9. Lego Marvel Super Heroes (3DS, PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)
  10. Tomb Raider (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

GTA V und GTA Online – Update zum “Valentine’s Day Massacre Special”

2
