Ich schwanke grade zwischen drei Spielen: Hollow Knight, Cuphead und Stardew Valley interessieren mich. Bei Cuphead müsste ich noch auf einen Rabatt warten, eins der anderen beiden Spiele könnte ich mir direkt zulegen. Statdew Valley wäre ein schönes Langzeit Spiel, das man perfekt vor dem schlafen Gehen zocken könnte. Über die anderen beiden weiß ich nicht wirklich viel. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrungen mit einem der Spiele oder sogar mit allen dreien?

Für Cuphead braucht man Ausdauer, die Bosse muss man per Trial and Error einfach lernen. Ich hab’s selbst noch nicht gespielt aber werd’s mir holen, wenn der DLC auch fertig ist.

Hollow Knight soll nen sehr gutes Metroidvania sein aber ich find den Stiel nicht schön. Soll aber verdammt gut sein.

Stardew Vally kann man gut mit Harvest Moon vergleichen, nur in gut bzw. sehr viel besser.

Doom 3 schlummert seit Day one Tagen auf meiner Platte, damals DER Grund, warum ich mit Pc Gaming anfangen musste!
Wird gerade für Switch ge-downloadet, die Umsetzung dürfte gut sein wenn ich mir anschaue, was Panic Button mit Doom 2016 vollbracht haben.

Doom 64 habe ich auch sehr gerne gezockt, es liegt gar nicht mal so weit zurück, als ich es wieder ausgepackt habe.
Eine Folge, die verdammt geile Levels bietet, auch wenn es auf original Hardware ein viel zu dunkles Bild hat. Wenn sie das ausmerzen, dann gerne her damit.

EA: Switch User..? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EA has offered a new explanation as to why they don’t really offer much support for the Switch, and it’s a bit of a head-scratcher.

During a conference call for EA’s first quarter earnings, EA CEO Andrew Wilson mentioned why the company has shied away from creating more titles for Switch.

“Any time we’re evaluating platform conversations we’re really looking at a couple of things. One, does the game really fit the profile of that platform in terms of the control or the community ecosystem? Two, do we think the community playing on that platform would appreciate the game and go there, or would they prefer to play it somewhere else?

We have a lot of data that would suggest a great many Switch owners also own a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One or a PC and very often choose to play the games that we make on those platforms, even though they have a Switch and they enjoy a lot of great content on the Switch.”

This whole conversation came up when an analyst suggested that The Sims might be a franchise suited to the Switch. Wilson had a bit to say about that as well.

“I wouldn’t say that The Sims would never go to the Switch, but I think we’re doing really, really well attracting Sims players [to other platforms]. We did a promotion in the last couple of months and brought in seven million new Sims players that we expect will engage in that community on a platform that is really tailored to user generated content, creativity and customisation.”
