Ich habe Kirby auf dem N64 nie gespielt, werde mir mal das Spiel anschauen. Die Farbpalette der NSO-Version sieht auf dem ersten Blick etwas besser aus.

Cult of the Lamb bin ich mega gehyped aber das hat immer noch nur 2022 Release. Der Rest war ok bis meh. Kein one more thing am Ende ist merkwürdig. Sonst haben die immer eine große Überraschung gehabt.

Zumindest für diese verschwenderischen, kleinen Card Slots, die Nintendo verwendet, wünsche ich mir, dass sie auf ihrer neuen Hardware Platz dafür übrig lassen und für die User damit die eventuell sinnvollste “Transition” erreichen, die sie so gerne leisten möchten.

Die Switch hat ein Problem. Der GPU-Treiber ist in jedem Spiel integriert. Wenn Nintendo und Nvidia eine neue GPU nutzen, dann müssen die einen work around finden. Nichts unmögliches, das ist Nvidias Aufgabe.

Ein price drop? Interessant. Jetzt noch schnell verkaufen was geht, bevor neue Hardware erscheint? Oder Nintendo befürchtet das die Nachfrage mit dem alten Preis in den Keller gehen würde…

“We have already announced a portion of our software roadmap releasing up to next spring,” he said. “Unlike the past, we continue to have a large variety of games scheduled to be released, even beyond five years of release. This is because the Nintendo Switch has had such a smooth launch, allowing us to focus all of our development resources on a single platform.

“However, the question of whether we will be able to just as smoothly transition from the Nintendo Switch to the next generation of hardware is a major concern for us. Based on our experiences with the Wii, Nintendo DS, and other hardware, it is very clear that one of the major obstacles is how to easily transition from one hardware to the next.

“To help alleviate this risk, we’re focusing on building long-term relationships with our customers. While we will continue launching new software on the Nintendo Switch, we will also provide services that also use Nintendo Accounts and other IP outside of gaming software. We intend for this to help build a lasting impact with our customers.”

Furukawa previously appeared to hint that some form of backwards compatibility could be utilised for its next game console, in order to “maintain and expand” Switch’s audience of 100 million-plus users.

Mit dem Ende von EA und Fifa ist EA nicht mehr verpflichtet sein Fußballspiel auf jeder Platform zu veröffentlichen. Bin gespannt, ob das weniger bis keine Nintendo Ports bedeutet in Zukunft.

Ich sollte Hollow Knight endlich mal fertig spielen, die machen jetzt ernst und zeigen es heute wahrscheinlich oder bald. Das Spiel könnte ich mir auch als Teil von Nintendos “E3” Summer What Ever Direct vorstellen.
