The Xbox series is designed with a very nefarious DRM set up. Like C-Bomb this will one day render all software unplayable as repairs, formats and new users will become impossible.

On PS3,4,5 this is not a issue due to its offline set up.

To clarify – the Xbox one / series are also time bombs.

Both require a online activation server to even set up and a active Xbox live account link. This will lead to the exact same result as the c-bomb but unlike the PlayStation issue we won’t be able to fix it manually https://t.co/uiPexD0h4u

Eventually this will render all formats and repairs impossible producing tons of e-waste. Again a simple solution would be for @XboxP3 to ask for this requirement to be removed. Showing Xbox’s intentions as a preservation focussed platform as they say they are

Der erste Satz ist richtig lustig, da außer Bots niemand ne PS5 kaufen kann.
Der PS4 Zug ist einfach schon ohne dich abgefahren. Die Konsole ist 8 Jahre alt.

Könnte daran liegen, dass du nen bisschen spät zur PS4 Party bist. Mein zweiter PS4 Controller hat zum Release 55 € gekostet. Jetzt sind die halt neu nur noch bei Ferengis erhältlich. Nen gebrauchter tut’s auch wenn du den ordentlich reinigst und eventuell Verschleißteile wechselst. Kommt wahrscheinlich besser als so nen kompletter China Fake Controller.

Richtig jeder Kondensator ist am Ende ne tickende Zeitbombe. Beim Mega CD oder Game Gear bekommt man das auch noch selber hin und hat dann erst mal Ruhe.

Viel Spaß wenn man dann bei der Switch nen Kondensator wechseln muss, nur juckt das im Moment noch niemanden.

Für die PS4 wird es irgendwann auch ne Lösung geben. Je neuer das Zeug ist umso schwieriger und fummeliger gestaltet sich aber das Modding bzw. die Reparatur.
