Lots of potential future content datamined in Animal Crossing: New Horizons [open spoilers]

Ich bin atm am terra forming und hab in meinem Kopf keinen Platz mehr, für ein Gemüsebeet… ich könnte eventuell die Blumen-Bumswiese in ein Gemüsebeet umfunktionieren.

Der Strand im Norden ist mir schon aufgefallen. Wollte da einen versteckten Mordschauplatz inszenieren aber gut das ich ihn bereits begehbar gemacht habe.

– Crazy Redd’s black market is coming back, supposedly its now a ship that will dock on the secret beach north of your island
– There are two museum upgrades planned, all levels of the museum upgrades contains an art section (there currently arent any arts in the game)
– Two standalone buildings: museum shop and museum gyroid cafe. Those are probably the museum upgrades and not actually standalone buildings but that’s how it is said on the code.
– Six types of bushes that aren’t in the game yet: Azalea, Hibiscus, Holly, Hydrangea, Camellia and Osmathus
– Unused shop interface, similar to the Nook Miles redemption menu, called “cGardening”
– New type of plant: vegetables. Can be grown and picked up. There currently are Tomato, Potato, Carrot, Pumpkin, Wheat and Sugar
– Two versions of the play report are unused yet: ‘get_recipe_clothing’, and ‘get_recipe_cooking’. It indicates that we may be able to get clothing and cooking recipes in the future (and also that we’ll be able to cook at all)
– Diving is seemingly coming back because an additional section of the Critterpedia with 33 additional items, including the exsting manila clam, is present in the files. There’s already space reserved in the save files for this feature
– A second Nook Cranny’s upgrade is present in the files
– More Nook Miles achievements, door customs etc.

Considering Earth Day is at the end of the month, it’s possible that the gardening part of this datamine is coming soon as well.

Um Bewohner los zu werden, soll es hilfreich sein einen Zaun um das Haus des Bewohners zu ziehen. Damit man einfacher nicht mit ihm/ihr interagieren kann. Wenn der NPC eine Gedankenblase über dem Kopfe hat, dann ansprechen.

Das mag Gewöhnungsache sein, aber für mich ist ein Controller zum spielen ideal, egal welches Genre.

RTS… Real Time Strategy… das Skill gap zwischen Controller und Tastatur/Maus ist da nochmal krasser wie bei Shootern.

Mit Zerg hab ich eine peak APM von 300 aber ich spiel mehr das Makro game und scheiß meinen Gegner mit Einheiten zu, bis er/sie/es stirbt. Weil lange halte ich das nicht durch, meine APM so hoch zu halten.

What we’ve learned since that tweet: there have been 5 hardware models supported by the OS; these are Icosa, Copper, Hoag, Iowa, and Calcio. Icosa, Hoag, and Iowa have been released; they’re the launch model, the lite, and the updated model with improved battery life, respectively.

Copper was removed after the RCM hardware bug was found, but based on its implemented services it seemed to be a non-mobile device (it didn’t implement battery or charging services, and had HDMI services unique to it that are theoretically handled by the dock in the hybrid Switch).

Calcio is interesting. It only popped up in one of the 9.X updates, seemingly indicating it’s in active development. It appears to essentially be Copper but on the new Mariko chip found in Hoag and Iowa and, curiously, lacks support for game cards, suggesting a digital-only device. If my speculation that a TV-only device would be positioned as a sort of super-economical option (even cheaper than the lite) is accurate, that would make some sense.

These 5 models fall into three form factors: nx-abca2, nx-abcb, and nx-abcc. Icosa and Iowa are nx-abca2, Copper and Calcio are nx-abcb, and Hoag is nx-abcc. You may also notice some consistency in the naming; abca2 devices start with ‘I’ (integrated?), nx-abcbs start with ‘C’ (console), and nx-abcc is ‘H’ (handheld). The previous thought that some of these terms referred to dev kits is inaccurate; the dev kits use the same hardware configs and form factors as the retail units.

Der zweite Bildschirm wird sehr wahrscheinlich kein AddOn für 3DS oder Wii U Support sein, geht Nintendo nun all in mit VR? Wofür braucht man sonst ein zweites Display?

Hinweise auf Mariko aka Nintendo Switch Lite wurde am 11. Juli 2019 zum ersten Mal entdeckt.

Muss nichts heißen aber es ist interessant zurück zu blicken.

Firmware 10.0.0 adds preliminary support for a new hardware model: "nx-abcd".
3 of the 5 new DRAM profiles are for this new hardware type and there's evidence of a secondary display of sorts being added exclusively on this model.

jetzt verstehe ich jedenfalls warum das remake so aufgeblasen ist und die geschichte in mehreren teilen erzählt werden muss. das pacing und die größe der gebiete von 2d spielen kann man einfach nicht übenehmen. außer man will am ende sowas wie dmc5 oder cod ?

Man muss nicht jede Szene so aufblasen wie in FFVIIR, das pacing vom original Midgar ist nahezu perfekt. Danach geht es weiter. Ich finde das Ende vom Remake null befriedigend. Square Enix muss das aufteilen, weil Tetsuya Nomura nicht in der Lage ist ein vernünftiges Spiel zu directen und die Firma seit der Compilation of Final Fantasy VII das Universum nur verschlimmbessern.

Das sie die Nebencharaktere ein bisschen weiter ausbauen das ist ganz nett und Don Corneo haben sie gut getroffen aber es fügt so viel unnötigen Balast hinzu, weil es muss ja auf die Spiellänge eines “richten” Spiels kommen…

Wenn du am Sonntag noch nicht im Spiel warst, dann würde ich die Uhrzeit auf 09:00 Uhr stellen, kurz Rüben kaufen, speichern und die Uhrzeit wieder mit der real Zeit synchron stellen. Solange man nicht vorher im Spiel war und dann die Uhrzeit umstellen sollte das kein Problem sein und in dem Fall völlig in Ordnung.

Wenn ich mal an der Helligkeit rumfummel, dann nur um ein Spiel heller zu machen… ich würde mal gerne die Stats sehen wer das wirklich manuell einstellt.

Ich hab mir auf ResetEra den Spoiler Thread durchgelesen, weil ich eh frühestens die PC Version spielen werde.

Man merkt das Tetsuya Nomura dahinter steckt… und das hatte ich befürchtet. Einerseits finde ich es mutig was sie machen ändern aber auf der anderen Seite auch wieder scheiße. Mein größtes Problem ist nun die Wartezeit. Square Enix hat schon Jahre lang Probleme mit der Projektplanung und Einteilung der Arbeitskraft, ich finde jetzt mehr wie zwei Jahre warten ist kontraproduktiv.

Hoffentlich gibt’s auf dem PC wenigstens ne gute Mod Community, müsste eigentlich kein Problem sein mit UE4.
