Auf der Website des PlayStation Store heißt es: „Ab dem 1. September 2026 können Sie aufgrund unserer Lizenzvereinbarungen für Inhalte nicht mehr auf Ihre zuvor bei Studio Canal erworbenen Inhalte zugreifen; diese werden aus Ihrer Videobibliothek entfernt. Vielen Dank.“ Bislang hat sich das Unternehmen weder für die Unannehmlichkeiten entschuldigt noch den betroffenen Konten Rückerstattungen angeboten.

Stand jetzt werden die Preise bis Ende nächsten Jahres steigen. Da wären wohl mindestens 200$ mehr drin. Project Helix wäre zu den aktuell prognostizierten Preisen noch schlimmer. Mehr RAM, größere APU. Aber auch Sony kann sich eine 1000-1200€ Konsole nicht erlauben. Da nützt es nix wenn die Konkurrenz noch teurer ist

With all due respect to this guy, pointing out there are more digital only games on PS5 vs games that have both a digital and physical release and calling it an "availability bias" doesn't make much sense here.

Everyone has it wrong.🤦#Sony has NOT technically confirmed the end of disc production in '28, it would NOT be hard to support physical on #PS6, and they've likely miscalculated the hit they'll take if they stay the course…

This further proves a theory of mine – this was a RECENT decision from the TOP. Sony was NOT planning to "do this all along with PS6". No documents I have suggest this, and everybody I've spoken with behind the scenes was surprised.

MLID ist auch der einzige der sich seit langem daran festbeißt, dass die PS6 auf jeden Fall mit Disc kommt und momentan der einzige, der noch hartnäckig sagt, dass die Konsolen (und RDNA5 Karten) auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr kommen und definitiv weit unter 1.000$ kosten werden. Der ist zwar gut vernetzt aber kann schon länger nicht mehr eingestehen wenn er falsch lag.

Habe im Zuge der Ankündigung von “Resi Veronica” nochmal mit “Resi Code:Veronica X” angefangen. Hatte das damals auf der Dreamcast gespielt und habe so gut wie keine Erinnerung daran. Außer, dass es geil und sehr groß war. Habe eine grauenvolle Grafik und eine Horrorsteuerung erwartet, wurde aber dann doch positiv überrascht. Resi ist auch nicht umsonst eine der größten Spielereihen. Die Atmo ist super, die dynamischen Kameraperspektiven wirken für ein Old School Resi sehr frisch, die Settings sind sehr unkonventionell und ja, die Welt ist riesig. Im Remake steckt ja sowas von viel Potenzial. Aber lieber mal nicht zu viel freuen, sonst ist man hinterher nur wieder enttäuscht.
